According to García, the investment is estimated to reach an impressive $5 billion and is expected to generate approximately 7,000 employment opportunities for the people of Nuevo León.
The project’s execution will be carried out in three distinct phases. The first phase will commence with the acquisition of land in October 2023, followed by the planning and construction phase in December of the same year. The completion of the initial phase is anticipated by July 2024.
In addition to the LGMG venture, Trina Solar, a leading Chinese solar panel manufacturer, has expressed its commitment to investing up to $1 billion to establish a new factory in Nuevo León.
